1. Who we are and how these Terms apply
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you access or use the Zebe website, waitlist, mobile application, web application, connected health dashboard, AI assistant, content, features, integrations, products, services, events or any related digital service that links to these Terms (together, the “Services”).
The Services are provided by Zebe Health Ltd (“Zebe”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Please insert the final company details before publication: company number [insert company number] and registered office [insert registered office address].
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, joining the waitlist, participating in a beta, or subscribing to any Zebe plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
We may also provide additional terms for specific features, paid plans, beta programmes, partner services, research activities or promotions. If there is a conflict between these Terms and any additional terms, the additional terms will apply only to the relevant feature or service.
2. The Zebe Services
Zebe is designed to help users better understand healthspan, lifespan and lifestyle-related signals by combining information from connected devices, third-party integrations, self-reported inputs, uploaded documents, bloodwork or other supported data sources.
The Services may include scores, summaries, educational content, trend analysis, lifestyle suggestions, reminders, prompts, AI-generated explanations, and recommendations related to areas such as sleep, activity, recovery, nutrition, stress, mood, biomarkers and general wellbeing.
Zebe may refer to specific internal concepts, including but not limited to Zebe Score, Arc, lifespan lens, healthspan lens, pillars, signals or recommendations. These are informational product features only, unless we clearly state otherwise in writing.
The Services are for personal wellness, education and self-reflection. They are not intended to provide clinical diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency support or professional healthcare services.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, unless we expressly allow a lower age with appropriate parental or guardian consent. We may refuse, suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that a user does not meet the eligibility requirements.
When creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to provide accurate, complete and current information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us promptly at info@zebe.health if you believe your account has been accessed without permission or if there is any security issue involving your account.
You must not create an account using another person’s details, impersonate another person, or use the Services in a way that misleads others about your identity or authority.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you provide to Zebe, including self-reported details, health goals, lifestyle information, uploaded files, biomarker results, device data and any other information submitted through the Services.
You should review any information, insights or recommendations provided through the Services carefully and use your own judgement. You remain responsible for decisions you make about your health, lifestyle, training, nutrition, sleep, supplements, care or treatment.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms, applicable laws, and any instructions or restrictions shown within the Services.
You are responsible for maintaining compatible devices, internet access, accounts with third-party services, and any data charges, subscription fees or other costs required to use connected features.
5. Health, wellness and safety disclaimers
Zebe is not a healthcare provider. The Services, including any scores, dashboards, educational content, AI responses, notifications, insights or recommendations, do not create a doctor-patient relationship and do not constitute medical advice.
Except where we expressly state otherwise in writing and where legally authorised, Zebe is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, treat, cure or alleviate any disease, injury, disability, medical condition or physiological process.
Do not use the Services to make medical decisions. Do not ignore, delay or replace professional medical advice because of information shown by Zebe. Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional about medical questions, symptoms, test results, medication, supplements, diet, exercise, mental health, pregnancy, injury, illness or treatment.
The Services are not designed for emergencies or life-threatening situations. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
Health and wearable data can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, misread or affected by device fit, battery, signal quality, manual input errors, third-party platform issues, sensor limitations and other factors. Zebe does not guarantee that any data, score, insight, notification or recommendation will be accurate, complete or suitable for your individual circumstances.
Any exercise, training, nutrition, sleep, recovery, supplement or lifestyle changes can involve risk. You should consider your personal circumstances and consult a professional before making significant changes.
6. AI features and personalised insights
The Services may include AI-powered features, including an assistant sometimes referred to as “Ask Zebe”, automated summaries, explanations, prompts, recommendations or other generated outputs.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, outdated, biased or unsuitable for your specific situation. AI outputs are not medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, psychological care or any other professional advice.
You should independently verify important information before relying on it, especially where the output could affect your health, safety, wellbeing, finances, legal rights or other important decisions.
You must not use AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, abusive, misleading, infringing or otherwise inappropriate content, or to attempt to identify, profile or make decisions about other people without lawful authority.
7. Data, privacy and connected services
We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Before publication, insert the final privacy policy link here
Depending on the features you choose to use, Zebe may process health-related data, wearable data, lifestyle data, self-reported information, documents, bloodwork, device identifiers, account information and usage data. Some of this information may be sensitive. You should only provide information that you are comfortable sharing and that you are legally entitled to provide.
Where you choose to connect third-party services such as Apple Health, Oura, Garmin, Fitbit, Google Fit or other supported integrations, you authorise Zebe to receive and process information from those services in order to provide the Services. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
You can disconnect certain integrations through your account settings or the relevant third-party platform, although this may reduce or disable parts of the Services.
We may use aggregated, anonymised or de-identified information to improve the Services, develop product features, generate statistics, conduct research, produce insights and support business operations, provided this is done in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
8. User content and uploaded information
You retain ownership of the information, files, documents, notes, goals, feedback and other content you submit to the Services (“User Content”).
You grant Zebe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, analyse, transmit, display, adapt and use your User Content as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve and develop the Services, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or submit your User Content and that your User Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights or breach any law.
If you upload test results, GP letters, biomarker data or other health documents, you are responsible for checking that the information is accurate and complete. Zebe is not responsible for errors, omissions, outdated information or consequences arising from inaccurate uploaded information.
9. Subscriptions, trials and payments
Some Services may be free, waitlist-only, beta-only or paid. If we introduce paid subscriptions, memberships, one-off purchases, consultations, reports or other paid features, the relevant price, billing period, renewal terms, taxes, cancellation options and any trial terms will be shown at the point of purchase.
Where a paid plan renews automatically, we will explain the renewal terms before you subscribe. You authorise us or our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees and taxes unless you cancel in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided.
You are responsible for keeping payment information accurate and up to date. We may suspend or limit access to paid Services if payment is not received.
Refunds, cancellations and cooling-off rights will be handled in accordance with the terms shown at purchase and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
10. Intellectual property
The Services, including the Zebe name, logos, design, text, graphics, software, models, scores, frameworks, dashboards, content, trademarks and all other materials made available by Zebe, are owned by or licensed to Zebe and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your own personal wellness and informational purposes.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, reproduce, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Services unless permitted by law or agreed by us in writing.
Feedback you provide may be used by Zebe without restriction or compensation, but we will not use your personal data except as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use the Services to do any of the following:
- break any law, regulation or third-party right;
- upload malware, attempt to hack, bypass security, overload systems or interfere with the Services;
- scrape, harvest, extract or collect data from the Services without permission;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity, affiliation or authority;
- upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing, misleading or inappropriate content;
- use the Services to make medical, employment, insurance, credit, legal or other high-impact decisions about another person;
- commercially exploit the Services without our prior written consent; or
- attempt to reverse engineer, train competing models from, or replicate Zebe’s systems, scores, content or recommendations.
12. Third-party links, devices and integrations
The Services may include links, data, information, integrations, products or services provided by third parties. These third-party services are not controlled by Zebe and may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, fees and technical requirements.
Zebe is not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, accuracy, security, compatibility, content, policies, actions, omissions or data handling practices.
Connected devices, wearables, apps, labs, clinics, cloud providers and data platforms may change, restrict, delay, discontinue or revoke access to their services. This may affect the functionality, accuracy or availability of Zebe features.
13. Availability, changes and beta features
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, available in every location or compatible with every device, operating system or third-party service.
We may update, improve, suspend, withdraw or change the Services, features, content, integrations, eligibility criteria, pricing or these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users, such as by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Some features may be offered as alpha, beta, pilot, waitlist, preview or early access features. These may be incomplete, experimental, unstable, changed or withdrawn at any time and may be subject to additional terms.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. If account deletion, cancellation or data access tools are available, they will be provided through your account settings or by contacting info@zebe.health.
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Services if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, created risk for Zebe or others, failed to pay applicable fees, used the Services unlawfully, or where we need to protect security, integrity or legal compliance.
When your access ends, your licence to use the Services ends immediately. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue where necessary, including provisions relating to intellectual property, privacy, limitations of liability, governing law and any outstanding payment obligations.
15. Warranties, liability and consumer rights
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make promises that the Services will meet your needs, achieve any particular health outcome, be accurate, be uninterrupted, or be free from errors, delays or security issues.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer rights that cannot be waived.
To the extent permitted by law, Zebe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or losses caused by reliance on health, wellness, AI or third-party information provided through the Services.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
16. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also have rights under mandatory local consumer protection laws.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
Questions about these Terms should be sent to: info@zebe.health.
