Why we built Zebe.
The science exists. The data exists. For most people, nothing connects them, or none of it is accessible. We built Zebe to be the layer that does, and to put health intelligence in every person’s hands.
Three things that drive everything we do
Before the features, before the architecture, before the launch plan, three convictions shaped what Zebe is and how it works.
We exist to help people add healthy years.
Lifespan is how long you live. Healthspan is how well you live the years you have. Most people see both decline before they need to. Chronic illness builds quietly, energy drains slowly, capacity narrows. Much of what looks like ageing is something that could have been caught earlier.
Zebe exists to change that arc. To help every person see what is happening to their body in time to do something about it.
People belong at the heart of their own health.
Most healthcare is built to take care of people when they fall ill. Zebe is built to help people take care of themselves before they do. Your body, your routines, your data, and your sense of how you actually feel all belong to you.
Our job is to put the science alongside them, so the picture comes together in a way you can act on.
Everything we do begins with the science.
Every interpretation, every insight, every answer is grounded in peer-reviewed evidence. Vetted, weighed, and tailored to your biology rather than to a population average. When the evidence is strong, we say so. When it is contested, we say that too. We never overclaim what the science actually supports.
We work across the four pillars the evidence keeps coming back to: Sleep, Body, Nutrition, Mind. We guide. We do not diagnose. We surface patterns and translate the science. We make GPs and clinicians more effective. We never replace them.
The team
Meet the people behind Zebe
Zahid Hai
15 years at Sodexo across strategy, sales, and operations — ending with worldwide responsibility for its services across 33,000 sites in 65 countries. Developed frameworks to measure quality of life and its impact on individuals and outcomes for organisations and societies. Had the privilege of presenting that work at the OECD World Forum, in support of their Better Life Index. After Sodexo, founded a consulting practice where AI became central. Then, through his own health, saw what AI could do — and built Zebe to turn science, health knowledge, and personal data into something one person can act on.
"The science existed. My data existed. AI connected them. This should be accessible to everyone."
Ben Carrington
A decade of performing health while quietly tolerating things that deserved more honesty. The story of what changed — and what that taught him about the system that should have connected the dots years earlier.
"What took me years of uncomfortable honesty and slow self-experimentation, Zebe can surface in days."
